Why do we like this?
One place where we don't get many submissions from is South Korea, which is where electro pop duo From The Airport resides. Both members of the band Milo and Zee, they had clear musical visions ever since they started hitting piano notes and tuning guitars in their early ears, explaining that they "use music as a means to convey powerful, positive messages."
That is why when they quite accidentally met at an indie rock concert in Gangnam (yes it's actually a district in SK), they realized right away what their new musical project was going to be: music from South Korea, a relatively small market for indie rock/pop, touching listeners' hearts and minds all around the world, and thus the band name From The Airport.
"Colors" is a brilliant little electro pop track. It sure is a vibrant one, full of color and excitement (it is named "Colors," after all). If you haven't already pressed play, don't worry -- it's sung in English, and pretty damn good English if you ask me.
So if you're looking for some real South Korean electro, give "Gangnam Style" a rest and tune in to "Colors."
