Why do we like this?
Are Freelance Whales getting gangsta? One could almost impute that based on the interesting song-title choice here, but this is in fact a cover of Devo's original track, "Girl U Want."

The signature sound of Freelance Whales stands clear in this remake, which will be featured on a split 7" released with touring mates Foals. According to Kevin Read, the group "wanted to change the feel of the song dramatically, since the original is like a really straight-ahead, rock, punk, Mark Mothersbaugh freakout."

We like totally agree with the outcome.
