It's quite fascinating what makes a song 'good'. At the end of the day, it's subjective, and yet, some tracks take off and are subjectively liked by many. Then is there something objectively good about that song? I think it would be hard to answer 'yes', as there will always be someone who doesn't like a song even if most do.
If the logic works out, then it necessarily follows that considering a song 'good' is a totally subjective/relative process. In which case, Freedom Fry's "Human" does the trick for me.
This song ticks all the boxes:
- Beautiful vocals: tick.
- Mellow soundscape: tick.
- Touching lyrics: tick.
The French & American indie-pop duo released "Human" on the 23rd of October after recording it at The Cactus Garden studio, Los Angeles, CA. If you're also of the opinion that "Human" is box-tickingly good song, then be sure to scroll through some of their other tracks that we've featured here on Indie Shuffle.
