Why do we like this?

My first Freedom Fry post dates back to February 2013 and it's safe to say there's been a whole lot of growth since then from the female-male duo.

"Awake" is their first single of 2017 and it's another delectable piece of jaunty folk pop that's bound to please the masses. How does one keep their sound fresh after 4 years? Well you reintroduce the ukulele of course!

Sure there's been a whole lot of experimentation by Freedom Fry in the last few years, but releases like "Awake" remind us of the initial rawness of their production and the wonderful organic instrumentation that put them on the map in the very beginning.
