Why do we like this?
2016 was a year Freddie Gibbs probably wants to forget after being accused of sexual assault while touring Austria. Thankfully Gibbs was acquitted of the crime in September and returned to making music with the fire single "All Day." Along with the release, Gibbs announced a new joint project with Curren$y and this week dropped gangster banger "Overtime."
Featuring the currently incarcerated Young Buck and Miami rapper Screwface, Gibbs and his fellow MC's spit bars describing their continual struggle grinding for the money over Kris Carter's L.A. beat.
"Overtime" serves as the lead song for the mixtape, Strictly 4 The Traps N Trucks Vol. 111, which you can stream here.
