Franz Ferdinand Right Action (Liv Spencer Rework)

Pretty much every time I cover a remix off Franz Ferdinand's latest album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action it starts the same way: I assert that the album didn't catch anyone's attention, but these remixes sure do.

Liv Spencer's rework of "Right Action" is no exception, though there's just something missing. Fact is, I was considering this track to be borderline Song of the Day material, until I hit the chorus. I wouldn't go so far as to call it out of tune, but there's a certain clash between the funky backdrop and the vocals.
