Why do we like this?
Describing himself as "a man from a small town in England making songs about my small town in England," Franko Fraize is a UK rapper doing great things. A story teller in the vein of The Streets' Mike Skinner, "Treasure" is Fraize's latest tune that's seen the young MC garner quite a bit of publicity since its release last week.
"Treasures" finds Fraize rapping about the ups and downs that go with a relationship, all with a British tilt on things. Fraize really captures the emotions we've all been through; one minute you hate them and are ready to walk out the door, the next you find yourself half naked on the couch making it up to them. Good times.
Fraize is joined by songstress Kamilla Lovett, who's distinct hook adds a female voice to the story, making "Treasures" all the more memorable. It's also worth checking out the film clip, featuring Fraize and Lovett at a typical birthday bash, complete with karaoke and little kids dancing.
