Why do we like this?

It's that time of the week when we are in serious need of some jangle pop to get us through unscathed. Luckily for us Australians and New Zealanders, we are looking forward to a three-day work week!

I'm excited about the latest offering from an exciting Brisbane quintet called Fox and Fowl, who recently dropped their four-song EP last week. "Jungle Punch" is definitely my kind of jam, with its fast-paced guitar lines and its sweet, sweet melodies. 

Would you believe that these guys were once a fully fledged garage rock band? I guess the move from Canberra to Brisbane had a pretty big influence on their sound today, what with so many indie pop acts emerging from the Queensland capital. 

Excited to see what the future holds for these guys!
