The Green Grass Romance

A candy soul track by Foushee gives us sunlit romance on the green grass of a Sunday morning.

Foushee got me the moment they released their re-imagining and deconstruction of "Enjoy the Silence", but with "Double Standards" they take us on a completely different journey on the library of their feelings.

A soulful and warm track, "Double Standards" is something of an enigma in its design. It's about double standards and yet it's so nice, so welcoming, and a track I wanted to pop on that romance playlist as quickly as I heard it, and yet it doesn't play around - it goes for your heart with soulful lyrics and funk dynamics
