Why do we like this?

Four Tet returns to his former sound in the latest track "Two Thousand And Seventeen." That beautiful sound you hereat 0:38 is a dulcimer, marking the track with its distinctive sound.

The singledebuted onAnnie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, where it was revealed that Four Tet has been making music for the past ten months.Perhaps this means there will be a follow-up to 2015’s Morning/Evening.

If"Two Thousand And Seventeen" had to formthe soundtrack to the year, 2017 would be one very relaxed year.

In that case, I'm just gonna hit repeat...
