Hailing from the country town of Bendigo, Fountaineer is an up-and-coming Australian indie-alternate act you'll soon be hearing more of.
The four piece's latest single is the impressive "Still Life," a combination of melodic indie-rock and driving synths that propel Anthony White's lyrics about "small minds and small towns."
White's voice is quite distinct over the swirling instrumentation with his hometown lyrics reflecting those of storytelling greats Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash.
Fountaineer's debut album Greater City, Greater Love is set for release later this year.
