Why do we like this?
Well, we all know Foster the People have absolutely killed it in terms of recognition. At this point, there's a good chance you'll hear them stepping into a Starbucks or Best Buy. And Urban Outfitters / American Apparel are absolute shoe-ins. Basically, they've gone full on pop.
Fortunately they're still indie enough (what is indie, anyway?) for us to cover them here -- particularly when you've got a fine remix such as this one by Treasure Fingers. Rather than completely dissect the track, the Fool's Gold artist has opted to tweak the drums and add a bit of synth work. Overall, the Foster the People you know and love is still kept whole -- probably owing to the success of this remix.
