New Zealand born, Melbourne based duo Fortunes might just be my favorite electronic-leaning R&B acts out of Australia at the moment -- as if you couldn't tell by how much I post about them!
They're back just a month after their last release with "Bomber," the lead single taken from their upcoming sophomore EP Jacket.
As usual, Connor McCabe's gloriously soulful vocal sours over tight production by Barnaby Matthews -- and just as I thought they couldn't get any more potent, they enlisted the help of Andrei Eremin on this track (and the whole EP, I believe).
"Bomber" is an ethereal and tormented offering from the pair, possessing of a lovely yet disconcerting dissonance. And I can't deal. Because, VIBES.
