Why do we like this?

It's tough to decline a track as smooth as this.

Formed in Brighton (UK), Fortunate War popped up in my submissions feed courtesy of their label Blah Blah Blah. Their song "Fuchsia" comes off an EP titled Because Because, due for release at the end of the month.

The description of the track pegs it as having a 90s progressive house inspiration. If that's true, the early-2000s interpretation of progressive house has severely tainted my interpretation of the genre because this is way too relaxed to be compared to Deadmau5 or Kaskade. And that's a good thing.
