Melbourne's Foreign/National has yet to disappoint; their two previous singles hit all the marks ("All Honesty" even made my Best of Australia: First Half of 2014 list). Now, with their debut EP due out next month, the five-piece has just offered us up a brand new taste of their intriguing pop rock.
Foreign/National's music always has an element of dreamy contemplation, and "Life Tourist" doesn't shy away from this formula. They way they mix just a touch of psych into their pop creations creates a worldly vibe, one that we've enjoyed on past tracks. "Life Tourist" is another feather in the cap for the guys, another expertly crafted piece of music to add to their growing repertoire.
This is a very talented band that keeps going from strength to strength, and I cannot wait to hear what they have in store for us next. Luckily we won't have to wait too long, with the EP out via Downtime in the coming weeks.
