Dammit, man. I missed these guys in NYC last week. I got stuck in a mixing session that went hours later than it was supposed to. That's what happens when the mix engineer isn't part of the production process. But that's another conversation, for another platform, for another time.
Foreign Air is gaining tons of traction and it's no coincidence. Their music is good.
Solidly produced, catchy vocals (check out the falsetto on this one) and a premium sound. You don't get much better in the indie space than songs that sound like this.
"Better For It," is a smooth touch of sonic honey. Think about how long you have to hold a good jar of honey upside-down before you get anything on your spoon.
You're better off digging in than letting it gingerly ooze its own self out. Although, in this case, that option doesn't exist, so all you have to do here is let the tune ooze its own way into your ears, and enjoy.
