Why do we like this?

Progressive R&B talent Gallant continues to surprise us, this time with an awe-inspiring take on Foo Fighters' "Learn To Fly."

Gallant has stripped the track back, turning the anthem rock number into a beautifully sincere search for inspiration. Gallant's tender vocals over the understated production make this one of the best covers I've heard this year, only raising expectations for the L.A. based artists next release.
