Why do we like this?
This isn’t the first time we’ve featured the honeyed tones of Hertfordshire-born, Norwegian-blooded Folly Rae (see her collaboration with Koven on the euphoric “Make It There”), but she’s come a fair way since the summer of 2013.
Following up the success of melancholic, folk-inflected debut single “Free Your Mind,” which gained traction on blogs and radio airwaves alike, she’s back with “Run For Cover." This is an edgier track that blends bassy keys with cracking 80s-inflected beats and an incredibly infectious melody. Surely set to tear up a dancefloor or two, it might just be your new autumnal anthem.
