FOALS have always had a distinct sound - a very specific brew of alt-rock music laced with a slight hit of funkadelic sounds. In "Wake Me Up" that funkadelic sound takes over the whole process - jamming drums, hyperactive guitar riffs, and a motivating aggressive throughline of instrumentation. Like the best little cup of espresso, this track infects your whole body and most certainly wakes you up.

It's like a double shot of expressive espresso and some funky caffeine
