Look At It Break The Water
FOALS continues to add to their discography of dance rock anthems with "Crest of The Wave" — a slowe-y, but a goody.
FOALS have proven that they can turn down their speed, but with "Crest of The Wave" they take that deceleration and give us a slow (almost bluesy) alt-rock track that burns through itself like a paper on fire, but it's a pile of paper and the flame is rocking.
It's got injections of surf rock (not unsurprising for something with the word wave in the title) but also light indie folk inspirations with its wavey vocals and distant guitars.
Every day I like FOALS more!
