Here's another offering from the deluxe edition of Flume's self-titled debut album. Roping in Autre Ne Veut and Ghostface Killah, the previously instrumental track "Space Cadet" is given a new breath of life. Autre Ne Veut's soulful vocals mix seamlessly with Ghostface's aggressive flow, while the beat is slightly less futuristic and more hip-hop orientated, suiting both guest vocalists.
The most amazing thing about Flume is the guy is only 21 years old. While I was chasing skirt and trying to finish uni at that age, Harley Streten has become one of the biggest names in the Australian electronic scene and is quickly taking the world by storm. It makes me wonder if I should have stuck with the recorder in high school...
