I'm writing this while still wrapping my head around, yes wow, new stuff from Flume. This year is going to be a big one for the 24-year-old.
It comes not without controversy either, after Flume recently dropped a snippet off the new album "Skin" and Reddit went crazy with accusations that he ripped of What So Not and Skrillex.
I say to hell with all that. Everyone wants to hear what Flume does next regardless of whatever Reddit is blowing up over.
So what does everyone think? I like it. A lot. I find it a touch muted by Flume's big drop tendencies but perhaps that's balanced out with lots of use of the F-word.
Anyone lucky enough to be going to Laneway Festival next month will likely be among the first to hear this and other newie tracks live. If that's you, drop me a line and tell me how awesome this one sounds live and when really, really loud.
