Why do we like this?
Described as a "sunset remix," Ben Macklin's take on the epic "No Light" by Florence + The Machine brings the song back to its mellow roots, providing an easy and relaxing listen.
The original song "No Light, No Light" was featured on Florence + The Machine's 2011 release Ceremonials, as well as being backed up by a music video courtesy of Icelandic duo Arni & Kinski. In the end, it wasn't exactly a resounding success -- peaking at #50 on the official UK Singles charts.
Perhaps Ben Macklin's touch would have made it more approachable? It certainly does in this take.
