With the overabundance of sub-par remixes and mash-ups propagating the internet, it's nice to see a quality band (Yeasayer) taking a shot at a band that's more-often-than-not the subject of remixes (Florence + The Machine). But just because a quality band takes on a remix doesn't mean they'll produce something good. Which begs the question: how did Yeasayer do?
Well, you lucked out. Indie Shuffle is full of opinion, so we'll let you know how we think this one worked out: pretty well. No, really. There's no overwhelming, repetitive drum beat, the vocals are well mixed, the song takes twists and turns that are enjoyable to the ear, and there's a definite variance of moods throughout the song.
