Norwegian producer Lido has taken the popular and wonderful original of "Two Bodies" from Flight Facilities and stripped it down to its absolute bare bones.
Lido's remix is competently and refreshingly done because it’s so minimal. He's pulled back on the strong, constant beat that underpins the original. More than that, he has almost completely done away with any kind of beat at all.
This is what punctuates Lido’s remixing work -- he’s not a thumping bass or beats kinda guy. He is much more considered and careful. Instead I can hear tiny sprinkles of electronic glitter infused around two things: showcasing the amazing vocals of Emma Louise and the subtle use of piano.
At less than three minutes long, this remix is a far cry from the extended version of the original that runs at over seven minutes. Don’t let the brevity of this remix fool you; this one is short but incredibly sweet.
