In preparation for their debut album release tomorrow, Flatbush Zombies has just dropped the new single "This Is It." It will join "Bounce" and ten other tracks on the highly anticipated 3001: A Laced Odyssey.
The hip-hop single is minimal with rapid fire, staccato spitting to match the rhythmic percussion. The trio reflects on the struggle to make it big, and the responsibility to respect their roots.
This will be the hip-hop collective's first full length release in nearly six years of existence. With all the hype surrounding it, "This Is It" seems like an appropriately timed and titled single. The trio has also taken to Twitter to stir up more interest, posting "When #THISISIT trends we will drop the video."
