Why do we like this?

Toronto-based trio Fjord Mustang absolutely smooshed my ears (in a good way) with their new single "Health Class Field Trip."

The track starts out in a forlorn folksy manner, but quickly fills out into a smooth indie rock single that manages to tick all the right boxes for me. From its beautiful melodic progression to the continual introduction of new instrumental elements, the song checks every checkbox I could possibly want in an auditory experience.

Hyperbolic language aside, here's hoping these guys have a few more like this up their sleeves.
