Why do we like this?

This isn't the initial time that Firstworld has been featured on Indie Shuffle. His first singles, released in 2017, made their way onto our site followed by his previous single from this year, "Just a Feeling." I am not surprised in the slightest that his music keeps finding its way back to our site, he's quite brilliant.

"This Time" is the Miami artist's latest project, remaining true to his usual psychedelic, chillwave feel but with a more sleek, modern execution. Kris Alvarez is the person behind Firstworld, an impressive production from a one-man team. The progression gradually builds up and explodes with dynamically layered synths around 1:08.

Looking forward to the ways that Firstworld will continue to transform his sound in future releases! Cheers xx.
