Why do we like this?

So, apparently chickens are treated particularly heinously. Yes, I'm referring to the ones we eat. That knocks out about 80% of my diet as a gluten-free, dairy-scarce eater. There's only one other type of food that gets as much attention in my diet, and that is bananas.

B-A-N-A-N-A-S
