Why do we like this?

Wayyyy back in ~2008 I went through a huge chillwave phase. The likes of Memory Tapes, Neon Indian and Toro Y Moi quickly became favorite artists of mine, their songs on constant repeat (and plastered all over Indie Shuffle).

Over the last few years those aforementioned artists have evolved quite a lot, to the point where you might not even recognize Washed Out's older music (if you're a new fan, that is).

Anywho, I digress. What's cool is that Firstworld, a Florida-based artist has managed to revive a sound in mind: chillwave. And that's pretty dope.
