A while back, I had the chance to premiere the track for the band Fight Night. It was a little bit emo, a little bit trap, and very much a brand new beast.
Well, the guys are back at it again after countless hours in the studio. With a little animation a la The Gorillaz, they are ready for the big time with their brand new track, "Call Me Back."
Kicking off with some soft piano chords and desperation-tinged vocals from Andy Gruhin, the track moves from electro-pop into trap territory -- some hard beats and jittery synthesizers shake it all up.
This track digs into the age-old problem of a girl who doesn't take your calls -- it kind of reminds me of the days of old, and the *69 trick so the girl you were trying to call didn't know it was just in guess you hung up in terror.
Keep an eye out for Fight Night's brand new EP Underground in the near future.
