After updating her social media accounts with strange images and clips, Fever Ray has triumphantly returned after eight years with the wildly entertaining "To The Moon And Back."
The biggest surprise about this tune is how upbeat it feels compared to the morbid electonrica of Fever Ray's self-titled debut. "To The Moon And Back" harks back to some of the popper moments of Karin Dreijer's other band The Knife, with wild synths and electro glitches piercing the air surrounding Dreijer's unique voice.
The film clip is just as bonkers as the song, with Dreijer waking from some kind of deep sleep chamber before getting involved in a highly sexual tea party that's certainly NSFW.
This one has me hook, line and sinker, and I'm super pumped for what's next. Welcome back Fever Ray!
