Why do we like this?
So we've let you know about The National and Ra Ra Riot, but since it's July we think it's about time to talk about the big guns. If you're recovered enough from your roll the previous day and make it out to Treasure Island's day two, expect to see Broken Social Scene (click here for MP3s) take the stage and deliver a serious dose of songs from their newest album, "˜Forgiveness Rock Record.'
2010 has been a busy year for BSS (MP3s), releasing the first album under the collective's name in five years and touring mighty heavily across the globe. No word yet on exactly which members will be there on Sunday, but judging by past festival performances, I'd anticipate a packed stage.
I'd caution against getting your hopes up about Torquil and the Stars crew being there, but it might be instructive to note they have no shows currently posted on their MySpace for October 17th.
