Why do we like this?

fern's single "4 A.M. Breakfast Club," featuring Lucy's Mirror, is a lushly beautiful slacker pop treasure.

The bones of the composition are akin to a classic '60s pop rock love song, but the modern tuning and style of the instrumentals fast forward to modern day indie pop in all its glory. The grunge-filled guitar creates a nice balance with the tonal organ while the percussion provides a quintessential easy listening R&B tempo. The layered vocals tie it all together with their silky crooning. "4 A.M. BreakfaSt Club" is a modern day love song for a new generation.
