Why do we like this?

Fenne Lily continued to impress with every new release and "On Hold" is no exception. The young Bristol singer songwriter has already accumulated a stunning collection of singles showcasing her delicate vocal range and inspiring lyrics about love, loss and relationships.

"On Hold" is a nifty guitar ballad that reminds me of early Angel Olsen, with Lily's melancholy vocals expressing the love and gratitude she has for best friend Felix, who was there to help her through the impact of her first important relationship break-up. 

The single is also the title track from Lily's forthcoming debut, an album steeped in poignant lyricism and folk tinged indie tunes exploring the loss of her first love. 

On Hold is set for release April 6.
