Why do we like this?

Rising Bristol singer songwriter Fenne Lily kicks off the new year with the soulful new single "For A While."

Building on a string of singles she released last year (my favorite being "Three Oh Nine") this latest effort is slight more stripped back. Allowing Lily's fragile voice to explore the space between the lightly strum acoustic guitar and dreamy synths helps capture the emotion of the song.

"For A While" is further demonstration of Lily's talent not only as a songwriter but a vocalist, and there's no doubting big things lie ahead for the UK artist.
