So this track by UK production trio Felon has been knocking around for a month or so now, but it was only last weekend that I finally heard it. Since then I have not been able to stop listening and am amazed that there isn't more chatter about it.
"Isla" was a strong break out track, but I was beginning wondering if these guys would ever match it. Well, they have now with "Burglar Bill."
Brooding synths, a fluttering, wubbing bass line, and mysteriously seductive female vocal samples create a spacey soundscape that oozes mellow but feels powerful. This enchanting track is indicative of Felon's versatility as is out now on their own imprint Melon Records.
