Why do we like this?

The newest release from Parisian label Record Record is provided by their fellow local Felix, who you may have heard on their third Filet Mignon compilation.

"Topkek" starts out with a warm analogue synth, building into an all-over-the-place upbeat drop.

Record Record has one of the most modern sounds in bass and dance music, and this is a perfect example of that. Felix twists vocals from Justin Timberlake's "My Love" and makes it a lead instrument of the tune, backed with insane sound design and perfectly crisp hi-hats.
