Why do we like this?

The track is as deep as its name. I mean, "Lodges of the Mind" reminds me of that Jim Carrey film with the girl whose hair changes color about 20 times, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Now, in my opinion, that's a huge compliment, because this movie had a seriously moving effect on me, and I think this track does the same.

To be honest, I think a lot of what Felix Lenferink makes has the ability to make you think a little bit longer than most music.

Lenferink's shiny, new The Same Species Occur EP has made its way to us through a label that I have an affinity towards: Chasing Unicorns.

While this SoundCloud version is only a portion of the whole track, it definitely captures the sounds and ideas well. If you are as drawn to Lenferink's music as I am, I would highly suggest buying it on 12".
