Why do we like this?
My Friday morning just got a whole lot better now that there's an official new single off Feist's upcoming album Metals. "How Come You Never Go There" has a dreamy feel through the first two minutes that leaves me pretty darn chilled out -- even as I hold coffee in hand.
Then, as I enter the bridge, I find that chill takes itself a whole lot more, rounding out with the introduction of some wind and brass instruments (sax? baritone sax? trombone? Maybe it's a bassoon).
Metals will be released October 4 on Cherrytree/Interscope in the U.S. I expect that gives plenty of time for new singles to work there way onto the Internet, so this likely won't be the last featured single you encounter on Indie Shuffle.
