Why do we like this?

When Leeds-based producer/singer-songwriter Favela just released a new track couple of days ago, his winter silence-breaker "Gong" immediately popped into my mind.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "Future Visions" is a weaker-
sounding track. It's just that you have to get to know Favela first, and "Gong" is the right way to do it.

In the bitch-better-have-my-money era, "Gong" might seem a little
too tranquil, too intimate, and too spacey, but it hits you with this strangely addictive summery vibe, makin' you wanna reach for the play button again. Have my word on that.
