Why do we like this?

There just isn't another songwriter out there like J. Tillman, in my opinion. His soulful cynicism, his abundant lyricism, his beard... man crushes are a thing, right? 

Anyway, his new album came out a couple months ago, and what I love about it is the character (and characters) that make each song unique. This track is one of my

This track, "True Affection," is one of my favorites, and with it's simple electro beat building into a radio-friendly chorus it's one of the more catchy tracks on the album.

It's just a little more polished, which may make it an easier add-on to your spring playlists than the typical ironic and intimate FJM fare.
