Why do we like this?

It's been a rather productive week for Father John Misty. After taking the piss out of Ryan Adam's Taylor Swift cover album with two covers of his own, Misty has dropped a brand new track that's just as provocative. 

"The Memo" is an acoustic number that finds Misty taking aim a variety of subjects with his charming delivery. The music industry, high art and the media are just some of the things Misty takes issue with and it's worth giving the lyrics a read.
