Why do we like this?

Norwegian favorite Farida welcomes 2018 with the pop banger "You." Following the success of her 2016 debut EP The 25th Hour last year was rather quiet for the former dancer. She dropped a couple of singles but kept things on the download, but if "You" is anything to go by she is back bigger and better than ever.

The synth laden R&B track is another sign of Farida's growth as a songwriter. Her vocals are engaging and there's a bit of Charli XCX vibe about this one, although it's a much more understated and sharp tune.
