Why do we like this?

This is hands down the best song I've heard all week. I keep coming back to it, and every time I do it sends a pulse of energy down my back.

According to Far Lands, the track is "old," though I'm not really sure the history behind it. What I can say is that the slightly liquid drum and bass element couples perfectly with sparse guitar work, resulting in a pleasurable auditory experience that I'd best categorize as rooted in arpeggios.
