Why do we like this?
Acclaimed New Yorker FaltyDL is about to embark on a European tour, and as part of the promotion for that he's released the stems for his track "Brazil." Australian Cairo has stepped up to the plate and made the track even more garage-y than it was before!
Whereas the Jamie xx remix of FaltyDL takes garage into the future with maximum wobble, Cairo keeps it to an old-school garage vibe, instead focusing on a looped sample and soft synths, bringing to mind some of James Blake's stuff as well as earlier UKG influences.
In my opinion, this is the best remix of "Brazil" out there. FaltyDL, give this one the prize!
