Why do we like this?
This one is for when you just want some background music on, that isn't going to put you to sleep and isn't going to distract you from whatever it is you need to get done.
"Afternoon Daydream" by Fair Ones, is a smooth, ambient tune with great sounds. Even on laptop speakers I can make out the quirky sounds that seem to replace all the traditional percussion. The main synth is a very common chord progression that we have all heard many, many times before, and that's completely ok.
Music has only so many patterns to it—for now. So guessing where the patterns will end up is a lot of fun on this song, and entertaining enough to garner several replays.
