German producers Chris Fabich & Ferdinand Weber have been all over Indie Shuffle of late, with their recent remix of The Weeknd's "Devil May Cry" hitting the top of the popular charts after a feature as Song of the Day. Today, the duo are back with another feel good, "Aaliyah."
Sampling a chopped vocal from Aaliyah's "Rock The Boat," this is pure unadulterated disco fun. Aaliyah's sensual pop vocals play the ideal partner to Fabich and Weber's playful production.
While it may be winter in their home town, here in Australia we are in the middle of a heat wave. For me, this song sets the perfect soundtrack for my summer. Whether knocking back a few frothies on the beach, or getting down and dirty in your favorite night spot, "Aaliyah" is the type of tune that will have you grooving along.
