Why do we like this?

"Gold Plated" is the debut single from 18-year-old South Londoner Fabian Secon. Originally starting off as a freestyle rapper, Secon soon found he had a talent for signing. Combining the rawness of his Brixton upbringing with the culture of New York (where he frequently visits family), Secon has developed a style that reflects both influences.

Falling somewhere between the murky, modern R&B flavor of The Weeknd and Gallant, Secon's "Gold Plated" is a dreamy insight into the singer/songwriter's intimate world. While the production is crisp, it's Secon's smooth and seductive vocals that make this work, signaling him as a talent to keep your eye on over the coming months.
