For anyone that has recently been through, or is currently going through, a heartbreaking breakup, you might want to hit play and be ready with a box of tissues, or you just may want to steer clear of this one.
"DRUGZ" by Ezkiel is a beautiful trap soul ballad for the palpable palpitations of your somber heart. Its melancholic tone and ghostly sounds instantly push and pull your mood that way, and there's absolutely nothing you can do other than enjoy the heartbreak.
The vocals merit as much praise as those high-end and extremely expensive Chris Brown vocals you hear on major pop hits.
The vocal production is probably even much better on this. The vibe does what it sets out to do, and what you are given is a glimpse of someone's regret and shattered dreams in love, with a nearly seven-minute long tune that feels like it's still, way too short.
